Ringfire FAQ
Questions we get asked a lot
About answerability, list scoring, and how the whole thing works.
Why don't my reps' calls get answered?
Most numbers on a cold list belong to real people with working phones. They're not picking up because they don't recognize the number. Ringfire scores every contact based on whether they're already known to engage with calls, so your team knows who's worth a dial before they place it.
What's a realistic connect rate for a cold calling team?
On a raw unverified list, most teams see 8-12% connect rates — roughly 18 dials to reach one live conversation. Teams working a Ringfire-scored list see connect rates closer to 18-22% on the same headcount, because they're starting with HOT contacts instead of working a list blind.
How do I get more meetings without hiring more reps?
The fastest lever is better prioritization before the first dial. When your reps work HOT contacts first, they spend more of their day in actual conversations and less on people who were never going to pick up an unfamiliar number. Same team, more pipeline.
How long should it take an SDR to ramp?
Industry average is 4-6 months. A big part of that is reps learning through trial and error which contacts are worth their time. When they start with a scored list, that guesswork is gone from day one — most teams compress ramp to 2-3 months.
What does a Firecast score mean?
Every contact gets a 0-100 Firecast score based on signals about whether they're likely to engage with a call. HOT means strong signal. COLD means low signal. Your reps work top to bottom, and you know before they start how much of your list is actually worth working.
